What is AI automation?
AI automation uses software to run repetitive business work on its own, with AI handling the steps that need judgement, like reading an invoice or replying to a customer. At Framworq, rules do the routine, AI handles the judgement, and people approve what matters.
What business processes can be automated with AI?
Anything repetitive that follows a pattern: customer enquiries on WhatsApp and web chat, invoice and document entry, lead research and follow-ups, reminders, reports and dashboards, and syncing data between your systems.
What is the difference between an AI chatbot and AI automation?
An AI chatbot answers questions in a conversation. AI automation runs a whole process end to end, such as reading a document, updating your systems and notifying the right person, and a chatbot can be one step inside it. Framworq builds both, with people approving what matters.
What software can AI automation connect to?
Most business software with an API, email access or a database: CRMs, accounting and ERP systems, messaging apps, e-commerce platforms, spreadsheets and cloud storage. We check what can be integrated safely and reliably, and work inside the tools you already use where possible, so your team has less new software to learn.
Do I need an ongoing maintenance subscription?
No. You can run the system yourself after handover, or ask us to monitor and maintain it. We agree on handover responsibilities and any required third-party hosting or software costs in the project proposal. Where a client chooses Framworq-managed infrastructure, its operating terms are specified separately.
How do you decide whether AI is needed?
We look at each step of the workflow first. Rules and integrations handle the predictable steps; AI is only used where documents, language or judgement-like classification need it. If plain automation is enough, we recommend that.
What happens when the AI can't read a document or an integration fails?
We plan for it. Low-confidence results and failed steps go to a review queue or alert a named person instead of being processed silently. The exact testing, logging and recovery depend on the agreed workflow and its risk level.
How much does AI automation cost in Malaysia?
We don't use one-size-fits-all project pricing. Cost depends on process complexity, system access, integrations, data quality, security needs and testing requirements. We discuss these in a free discovery consultation, then quote your project privately in a tailored proposal.
How long does it take to set up AI automation?
Timelines depend on the workflow, system access and testing, so we confirm an indicative timeline in your tailored proposal after discovery. One accounting client went from kickoff to live in one month.
Will AI automation replace my staff?
No. It takes the repetitive work off your team so they can focus on clients and decisions. People still approve what matters, and your team gains capacity for the work that needs them.
Is AI automation worth it for a small business?
It is when a task repeats often enough. We record a baseline before we build and measure the same thing after go-live, and we suggest starting with one pilot workflow so the return can be measured first.
Will we own the system and source code?
You own the bespoke code and project-specific deliverables covered by the agreement. Framworq retains ownership of its pre-existing frameworks, libraries and reusable components. We document the licences and handover materials your team needs to operate the delivered solution. Third-party software remains subject to its own terms.
Can someone review outputs before anything is posted or sent?
Yes. Sensitive actions, such as creating accounting entries or messaging customers, can require staff approval. We agree these approval points with you during planning.
Where is our data processed?
We confirm data handling for each project, including which AI providers are used, their no-training terms where available, and where the system is hosted: on your infrastructure or a managed server.
